Terms of Use
The rules for using our website
Last updated: October 17, 2026
These terms set the rules for using the Ceres Canopus website and explain that our services are provided only under a separate written proposal or agreement.
This website is operated by Ceres Canopus Private Limited (brand name Ceres Canopus Pvt Ltd; “Ceres Canopus,” “we,” “us” or “our”), a private limited company based in Thane, Maharashtra, India.
By using cerescanopus.com (the “website”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). Using the website includes browsing it, using its forms and contacting us through it. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. If you use it for a company or organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to act for it.
The website, its forms and the internship application are for people aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, please do not submit personal data to us.
These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and need no signature. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. They explain how we handle personal data and cookies. Where we show a cookie consent banner, you can choose which non-essential cookies to allow and change your choice from the cookie settings link.
The website gives information about Ceres Canopus and our services. You can use it to contact us, send an internship application and ask for updates. We do not take payments through the website, and it has no visitor accounts. If that changes, we will update these Terms.
The website is not an offer to sell, and nothing on it forms a contract for services. We provide services only under a separate written proposal, statement of work or agreement that both sides have accepted. If that document conflicts with these Terms about the services, that document applies to the services. A call, email, WhatsApp message or meeting with us does not create a service contract by itself.
You may use the website for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You agree not to:
If you find a security problem, please email info@cerescanopus.com with the subject line Security Report. Please do not exploit the problem or share it publicly before we have had a reasonable chance to fix it. We offer no reward or legal safe harbour for security reports.
If we believe you are breaking these Terms or the law, we may block your access, remove content, or report the matter to the authorities.
The text, graphics, logos, layout, code and other content on the website belong to Ceres Canopus or are used with permission. They are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The names and marks of other companies belong to their owners.
You may view the website for your own use, print or save a page for personal or internal business reference, quote short extracts with a clear credit and a link to the source page, and link to our public pages if the link is fair and lawful and does not suggest that we endorse you. We may ask you to remove a link.
You may not copy, change, republish, sell or build on our content or branding for commercial purposes without our written permission. These Terms give you no other licence. To ask for permission, email info@cerescanopus.com and say what you would like to do.
You keep ownership of what you send us. We use it only to reply to you, assess your enquiry or application, and run the website, as described in our Privacy Policy.
When you submit information, you confirm that it is accurate as far as you know, that you have the right to share it (including any details about other people), and that it does not break the law or anyone’s rights.
Please do not send passwords, government identifiers, financial account details, health information, or other sensitive personal data through our website forms.
Our website forms are not a confidential channel. If you need to share confidential business information, ask us first so that we can agree a suitable way, such as a written confidentiality agreement.
If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them to improve the website and our services. We owe you nothing for them unless a written agreement says otherwise.
What we publish on the website is general information. It is not legal, financial, tax or other professional advice, and it is not written for your situation. Please take advice from a qualified professional before you act on it.
We do not promise any particular result, timeline or cost from using the website or the information on it. Any commitment from us about work, results, timing or price must be stated in a written proposal or agreement. Any example on the website is an illustration only.
We try to keep this website accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee it. It is provided as it is. We may change, suspend or remove any page, feature or content at any time, for example for maintenance, security, legal reasons or business needs. Information on the website may become out of date, so please check with us before you rely on it for a decision. We take reasonable care, but we cannot promise that the website is free of viruses or other harmful components.
The website is not made for use in every country. If you use it from outside India, you are responsible for following the local laws that apply to you. None of this removes any right you have under law that cannot be excluded, including your rights as a consumer.
The website links to other websites and services, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X and WhatsApp. It also uses or embeds some third-party services, such as Google Maps, Google Analytics and Cloudflare Turnstile.
We do not own or control these services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. A link on our website is not an endorsement. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third parties. If you message us through WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy also apply to that message.
Using this website is free. To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, arising from your use of the website, your inability to use it, or your reliance on its content.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud or wilful misconduct. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under consumer-protection law. Our liability for services is governed by the written proposal or agreement under which they are provided, not by this section.
You can use the website to send an internship application or to ask about internships. Submitting an application or enquiry does not create an employment or internship relationship. It does not guarantee an interview, a place or a job offer.
An internship may be subject to separate written terms. If those terms conflict with these Terms for that internship, the separate terms apply. When you apply, you confirm that your details are accurate. We handle application information as described in our Privacy Policy. We may decline or close an application at any time. Applicants must be 18 or over.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
The courts at Thane, Maharashtra, India have jurisdiction over disputes about the website or these Terms. This does not limit your right to complain to a data-protection authority or to use your rights under consumer-protection law. If you live outside India and the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country give you rights that cannot be waived by contract, these Terms do not remove those rights.
Before you start any proceeding, please contact us as described in Section 12 so that we can try to resolve the matter informally.
We may update these Terms when the website, our services or the law changes. We will publish the revised version at this address and update the “Last updated” date. The updated Terms apply from the date we publish them. If you keep using the website after that date, you accept them. Changes do not affect any written agreement for services.
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about your use of the website. They do not replace any written agreement for services.
